About Cape Town

The historic tour of Cape Town is essentially in the City Bowl with Table Mountain being the backdrop of this tour and includes taking the cable car up to the summit of Table Mountain for arguably one of the most magnificent sights of a city in the world – followed by a trip to, The Castle, Firing of the noon gun on Signal Hill, Bo-Kaap and Bo-Kaap Museum, traditional Cape Malay lunch at either Bo Kaap Kombuis or Biesmillah Restaurant and then a tour of the Company Gardens which includes visits to St. Georges Cathedral, The Slave Lodge, S.A. Art Gallery, Jewish Holocaust Museum, Green Market Square, St Georges Mall  and Houses of Parliament, a extra option will be Chavonnes Battery Museum at the V & A Waterfront.

Warm water proof clothing in winter is a must though even in the middle of summer it can get very cold on top of Table Mountain and suntan lotion is recommended.
